I could not be happier that it is FRIDAY! This has been a relatively good week for me at work.
However, I got a ticket on my way to work on Thursday because I got stuck in the middle of an intersection when the car in front of me slammed on the breaks (because he got cut off by another car getting over due to upcoming construction.) Then, out of nowhere, comes a motorcycle cop. Yay! So anyway; now I owe $155 for something I couldn’t help! YAY! As if the bills I already can’t afford weren’t enough?! As if I did not love police enough? The funny thing is, I have always defended them when people had not so nice things to say about them. And the past 2 speeding tickets I received, I acknowledge that I was indeed speeding and deserved them. But I do not feel that this one is justified; since if it was possible to make my car disappear into thin air, I would have!
Anyways, back to better subjects. Work went much better this week. I set a record up there that hasnt ever been seen in 2 years! (Rock on!) So, overall I am happy.
And how come more people haven’t signed up for accounts so they can leave comments?! Come on, people! :p

fucking Time Warner Cable!

fucking cable is out and the bitches tell me (after waiting on hold for 16 minutes) that they can’t get anything done until a technician comes out. and that wont be until sunday! WHEE! i love how they need a technician to tell their asses that its out. god forbid they fucking listen to a customer. i’m not stupid, the cables are plugged in as they normally are and neither tv works!
am in a rather fowl mood right now..
UPDATE (4/1/07): Time Warner Cable came by.. The cable was never out. They had just switched all channels from switches A & B to just all channels on switch A. I had primarily used switch B. The customer support people were unknowledgeable and apparenly too stupid to tell me that that might be the problem. Idiots. So all is working now. Must re-program all channels now though since they have all changed. *sigh*
the memorial service…

the memorial service for Bradlie was beautiful. his mom and family were all so very nice and sweet. i thank them for being so supportive to us, Bradlie’s friends, while going through unimagineable times themselves. there were slideshows of Bradlie, his cam-blogs and very beautiful music. i want to weep just thinking about it, but the point is–it was perfect. that is all for now. too sad still.
why do i go so long without updates?!

i guess as much as i hate to admit it, i rarely have time to post. so here goes. will try to bring this journal back to life. life has changed dramatically since i last posted. i was in a relationship with my first real love again – it failed. failure in the relationship area doesn’t seem to be new to me, so i will move on to happier subjects.
i got a new job – that i LOVE! i’m no longer in retail — now in an office enviroment. i absolutely love that. same hours every week and paid holidays. they also gave me a “Paid Half Day Off” birthday card for my birthday. was very nice – have never had a job that just gives you things you would never even expect to get.
back to the sad now, i recently (Wednesday, February 28th) lost a friend. bradlie — you will be greatly missed. he was like a role-model to me, and just such a nice guy. touched a lot of lives. wish there were more people in the world like him. still just very shocked and devastated by this.. im sick today. think it’s the flu. whee! anyways.. that is my life recently in a nutshell.
