so tonight was so much fun!  drove all the way out to B.F.E. to find a movie that i have been unable to find for years.  i had called a store and they said that this particular store had it.  (Village of the Damned with Christopher Reeves)  when i got to the store (did i mention that it was fucking a million miles away!?!) i went inside to see that it was quite packed.  one of the biggest Movie Trading Company stores i had ever seen, however – so that was cool.

however, of course when i run to where it should be (alphabetically) — it isn’t there!  so i asked a store employee, and he told me that the system said that they did have it in stock.  he looked a bit more, couldn’t find it still – and with other apes asking questions, he had to give up.  he did take my name and # and told me he would call me if he did find it, and that he felt truly awful for them not having it after i drove all that way.  i wasn’t upset with him or the store, as i worked at BLOCKBUSTER for 3+ years; and knew how people were when it came to movies.  so, i decided to use the “Video Store Customer Logic” and look for it.  sure enough; it was in the E’s — dropped by a customer that either didn’t want it, or their monster demon seed kid picked it up and set it down.

so all ended well.  i got my movie, and i also got a boxset missing from my collection; Frasier (Season 2).
